How BluePen Works For Banks

From your first compliance question to the consultant you choose. A clear process, a discreet request, and expertise on your terms.

01

Create Your Bank Account

Start with your institution. Build the foundation for every connection that follows.

Confirm your email, find your bank using its FDIC certificate or provide your NCUA charter, and submit your institution for review. Bank verification is reviewed by an administrator before you can post requests.

  • Choose the Bank account type
  • Link your institution and complete your profile
  • Track verification from your dashboard

Describe The Help You Need

A clear scope attracts the right expertise. Your bank stays discreet.

Give your request a title, select a specialty and describe the work, budget and timeline. Consultants can discover an anonymized opportunity and unlock its full scope without seeing your institution’s name or contacts.

  • Outline the deliverables and desired timeline
  • Keep customer data and supervisory information out
  • Post your request from your dashboard

Your bank’s name and contacts stay private until you invite a consultant.

03

Compare Expertise, Not Just Bids

Review interested consultants before deciding who you want to meet.

Your Proposals tab brings together cover messages, fixed-fee or hourly bids, timelines and profile credentials. Compare relevant experience and review available evidence; a missing or unverified credential is not a verified claim.

  • Read the proposed approach and scope
  • Review experience, credentials and supporting evidence
  • Shortlist the best fit or decline a proposal

You choose whom to interview after reviewing proposals.

Invite The Consultants You Want To Meet

Turn a promising proposal into a real conversation.

Send an interview invitation after reviewing the proposal. Review the confirmation before you proceed. Both sides’ contact details are then shared so you can discuss priorities, clarify deliverables and agree the work directly.

  • Review and confirm the invitation before proceeding
  • Connect virtually or arrange an in-person discussion
  • Agree the scope, schedule and engagement terms

An invitation opens the conversation; it is not a completed engagement.

How Do I Post A Request?

Verify your bank account, describe the scope and review interested proposals in your dashboard.

When Is My Bank’s Identity Shared?

Your bank’s name and contacts stay hidden while consultants discover requests and submit proposals. An interview invitation shares both sides’ contact details. Avoid including identifying or confidential information in the request itself.

What Does Bank Verification Mean?

An administrator reviews the institution linked to your account. Verification is required before posting; a pending claim does not mean the bank has been approved.

Are All Consultant Credentials Verified?

No. Consultant account approval and credential verification are separate. Credentials remain Unverified until the evidence is actually checked; review the displayed status and supporting information.

How Is AI Guidance Different From An Audit?

AI guidance and readiness scans help surface questions and potential gaps. They are not legal advice, an audit or a regulatory rating. Full audit work is delivered by independent consultants, with scope and hourly terms agreed separately.

I’m A Consultant. Where Do I Start?

Use the Consultants page to build your profile, explore discreet requests, unlock opportunities that fit your practice, and submit a proposal. Bank identity becomes available after an interview invitation.
